Raphael is a unique blend composed of Shiraz, Petit Verdot, Petite Sirah, and Chardonnay grapes.  All of the grapes are from the 2007 harvest in selected quality plots which were manually harvested.  The wine was aged for 18 months in selected French and American oak barrels.  The combination of three relatively unique varieties (compared to Merlot and Cabarnet) with the Chardonnay (white wine) grapes achieves a high-quality, caressing, and very interesting wine.
